It is with much regret that the Board of Norfolk Family Carers have decided to close our current services to unpaid carers from the end of June 2023. They concluded that given current and likely future funding Norfolk Family Carers is unsustainable in the longer term. We feel that other more robust local charities are better placed to prosper in the current climate. We have worked closely with The Benjamin Foundation who have agreed to take over the running of our young carer groups to ensure that those we supported continue to receive the help they need.
Following this transition Norfolk Family Carers will formally close on 31st July 2023.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the funders and supporters who have helped us work with thousands of unpaid carers since the charity started in 1993. It has been much appreciated.
