Friday 5th October is Globals Make Some Noise Day – the day when all the main fund raising for the Make Some Noise charities really takes off. There have been lots of brilliant fundraising events going on around the UK supported by lots of celebrities and all the Global Radio Stations.
As one of the nominated charities, we have been working closely with the team at Heart East Anglia. Today we were invited into the studios to meet and talk to the presenters about our charity and the work we do with Young Carers. Some of our Young Carers have also featured in the Breakfast and Drive time programmes and the presenters and “Noisy” came and joined in with a Bake Off at one of our groups.
The day was also all about the Big Quiz and with lots of help from Heidi Secker, one of the breakfast presenters, were the ultimate winners!! Thanks to all the teams who took part and raised money for Make Some Noise.
We also had a guided tour of the studio and saw how the programmes all come together. A lot harder than it sounds.
Looking forward to continuing to work with everyone to keep raising funds. Hear a Zumba event may be next in the calendar!!
