Do you have a passion for others and feel you could make a positive contribution to the board of our independent local charity? If so we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking new trustees to expand and strengthen our Board, helping us develop our strategy and services to ensure we continue to make a difference to family carers.  Trustees bring skills essential to successful governance of the charity and a willingness to help promote our services and success. The Board meets in person every other month, although currently meetings are held using Zoom.

We are keen to hear from anyone with the enthusiasm and willingness to actively contribute to our Board, and would particularly welcome candidates who have experience of a caring role, a legal or IT background or who have experience of fundraising, digital communications or PR.

For those new to the role induction, training and support will be provided.

What difference will you make?

You will play a pivotal role in shaping, influencing and overseeing the direction of Norfolk Family Carers

As a new trustee you have the opportunity to bring new ideas and fresh skills to our charity. You can have a huge impact on the organisation and, by extension, the individuals and families we support. You will have the opportunity to influence our strategy and to help raise the profile and impact of the great work our staff carry out with young and family carers within our community.

What’s in it for you?

As a trustee you are at the centre of the action, helping to make important decisions and ensure the services we provide meet the needs of the people we are serving.

The role offers personal development opportunities and the chance to broaden your skills, whilst supporting a valuable local charity, making a difference to the lives of young and family carers.
